    Eendaagse opleiding over respiratoire aandoeningen bij baby's en kinderen, en de rol van de kinesitherapeut hierin. Heel wat technieken zoals neusspoelen, inhalatietherapie en autogene drainage komen aan bod. We bespreken daarnaast ook hulpmiddelen zoals PEP en flutter en gaan dieper in op intrapulmonaire percussie ventilatie (IPV).

    Spondyloartritis (SpA) blijft een weinig gekende en dikwijls miskende inflammatoire reumatische aandoening. Nochtans wordt de prevalentie geschat op 1% van de bevolking. De ziekte van Bechterew (Ankyloserende Spondylitis) is de meest uitgesproken variant van SpA. Cruciaal in de behandeling is het vroegtijdig stellen van de diagnose, en daar kan de kinesitherapeut een belangrijke rol innemen.

    Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) refer to several highly common clinical disorders that involve the masticatory muscles, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the adjacent structures. TMD is one of the most frequent causes of orofacial pain & headache and is associated with basic functional limitations such as difficulties in chewing, talking and yawning. Additionally TMD patients tend to suffer from other disabling pain syndromes such as migraine, tension type HA and neck pain – therefore introducing a challenge to clinicians. In this course, participants will learn an effective evidence informed assessment & practical management of people with TMD.

    This one day course aims to manage shoulder pain within a bio-psychosocial framework. The course will look at current evidence and basic science to better understand motor strategy and exercise prescription for RC related shoulder pain as well as the wider context of tendinopathy disease. Participants will be taken through understating muscle recruitment patterns, structural deficits and the psychosocial factors to managing complex rotator cuff related pain using clinical scenarios to help clinically reasoning, participants will be encouraged to be interactive and challenge current thinking.
